The Speed SCONTROL enables the power supply of lightings similar to ThinLED, in 700 mA with very short rising and falling times. It works only in strobe mode, and cannot be customised. Even with very short shooting times, the user can easily synchronise the lighting with the camera.

The strobe input being optocoupled, the triggering system is isolated from the rest of the internal electronics. As soon as there is a positive voltage between + Strobe and – Strobe, the Speed SCONTROL lights the led system. To gain additional speed, the regulation is made through linear regulators. The latter absorb excess energy, so as to offer the most relevant current/voltage ratio for the lighting. The Speed SCONTROL is protected against polarity reversal in inputs, so as to avoid any risk of destruction because of wrong connections.
