Illumination filters are available for the most varied applications. Whether polarization filters, bandpass filters, cutoff filters or lens protection glasses. Diffusers are used to homogenize lighting structure by distributing source light over a scattering/translucent area to produce an effective light-emitting surface. This is useful for illuminating shiny surfaces or large areas, where source direction and structure can pose a limitation for imaging systems.
